Each Onyx Resin piece is shaped from a solid hardwood slab (walnut, olive, or poplar) chosen for its grain and character. The wood is dried, stabilized, and sanded by hand before any resin is poured.
Resin is mixed in small batches and poured in stages, with each layer cured before the next, to build the depth and movement you see in the finished surface. Finishing, including sanding, polishing, and oiling, is done entirely by hand.
Each piece takes between 3 and 8 weeks to complete, depending on size and complexity. You'll receive photo updates at every stage so you can watch your piece come together.
Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive sponges.
Always use coasters and trivets under hot items. Avoid placing hot pans, mugs, or kettles directly on the surface.
Keep the piece out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent the resin from yellowing over time. Re-oil the exposed wood once a year with a food-safe finishing oil to keep the grain rich and protected.
Production takes 3-8 weeks after design approval, depending on the piece.
Every piece is delivered worldwide in a custom-built crate, insured for safe transit. Delivery is on us.
Payment is split: a 1/3 deposit when the design is approved, and the balance before delivery.
